Support harvest 2025

5th September 2025

Local need remains high

In the first eight months of this year we’ve provided three-day emergency food parcels to 1,905 people, a third of whom had never previously been to a foodbank. By far the most common cause of crisis has the rising cost of essential items, demonstrating the impact that the cost of living crisis is having across our area.

What can you do to help?

We’re extremely grateful to have a generous community that continues to support us as we fight hunger in our local area, but as the cost of living crisis continues donations have dropped significantly. This Harvest we’re asking for you to help us provide emergency food to those who find themselves in financial crisis.

If you’re able to donate to us the items we most need are:

  • Tinned vegetables
  • Tinned fruit
  • Soup
  • Tinned tomatoes
  • Rice pudding & custard
  • Tinned meals (meals & veggie)
  • Cooking sauces
  • Tinned fish
  • Squash/ Juice

If you’d like to make an individual donation you can drop it off at one of our collection points (you can find their info here). If you’re donating as a community group, school or church please contact us at [email protected] or on 07925 862289 to book a mutually convenient time to make your donation.

What if you want to donate money?

We always welcome financial donations, and you can find information on making a one off donation or setting up a standing order here. Financial donations help us to pay for our running costs, plan the foodbank’s future sustainability, and purchase stock when we begin to run low on certain items.

However you support us, thank you.
